new season

with 5 comments

you ever feel like your life is like a tv show?  one season of your life you’re going along doing your thing and then the next season, people leave, only to be replaced by unfamiliar characters that you now have to get used to.

the thing is, you’ve grown so accustomed to those previous characters you don’t know if you will ever get used to the new characters.  for instance, i liked the original aunt viv from the sitcom, the fresh prince of bel-air, but she got replaced.  sometimes you just wish things to stay the same.

however, it’s when you start getting used to the new characters in your life that you realize how much the new characters were needed.  it’s better to have new characters than to just keep losing them til all that’s left is you.

it’s time to move on.

  2. Now that I think about it.. yea, it definitely does feel like a tv show. It’s hard not to dwell in prior seasons of life. Past relationships that you know are fading, but there’s nothing much you can do about it but move on.

  4. yes, ambiguous indeed… muhahaha!!

nah, j/k. it’s more about how things have changed in my work study arrangement – boss retiring, people being promoted, new people being hired. i had this idea a while back but just got around to writing it now. nothing to worry about people 🙂

  5. I feel like my life would be a badly written sitcom……like 2 and a 1/2 men.
